I chose to take pictures of food coloring bottles that I put in a triangular formation. I used a large aperture to create shallow depth of field. To create a large depth of field I used a small aperture. For the first two photographs I used an f- stop of 4.2, and for the last picture I used an f-stop of 22. I was able to change what was in focus in the photographs by changing the f-stop and manually focusing the camera. I think my strongest picture is the middle photograph because I like the way the bottle in front is the only thing in focus. You would use a shallow depth of field when you want to draw attention to only one part of the photograph. You would use a large depth of field when you want everything in the photograph to be in focus.
